Established in 1993 as a clothing company, Ethos began trading by acquiring an apparel license for the Flintstones. Soon after it expanded into the growing streetwear market with its two new brands DJ At Work and Clubster selling into UK, continental Europe, USA, Russia and Japan. Continuing within the industry, it acquired the clothing license for the most classic of all small cars, the Mini and produced an initial range consisting of over 120 pieces, spanning all the way from denim to shirts, leather jackets to T-shirts and much more, for both men and women.
